Peer Counseling
Peer counseling is about offering support rooted in shared experience. I provide a space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Drawing from my own lived experiences, I offer non-judgmental, collaborative guidance to help you navigate the challenges you face. Whether you’re seeking support for personal struggles, advocating for your needs, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to help you work through it with compassion and empathy. I focus on building a relationship of trust and mutual respect, creating a space where you feel safe to explore your feelings, goals, and challenges.
What I Offer
Provide Empathetic, Non-Judgmental Listening. I offer a safe space where you can express yourself openly, knowing you’re heard and understood. Whether you're dealing with challenges in your personal life, work, or school, I’m here to listen without judgment or pressure.
Offer Guidance Based on Lived Experience. Drawing from my own experiences, I share strategies that helped me navigate similar struggles. This could include tips on self-advocacy, managing emotions, or overcoming barriers to well-being. My approach is practical and rooted in real-life experience.
Support You in Developing Self-Advocacy Skills. One of the core aspects of peer counseling is helping you develop the confidence and tools to advocate for yourself. Whether it’s understanding your rights in the workplace, seeking accommodations, or speaking up for your needs in healthcare settings, I’ll guide you through how to take action with confidence.
Help You Set Personal Goals and Reflect on Progress. We’ll work together to identify your personal goals, whether they’re related to emotional well-being, personal development, or life transitions. I’ll help you reflect on your progress, celebrate milestones, and adjust goals as needed.
Create Space for Empowerment and Growth. My goal is to empower you by helping you develop resilience, self-awareness, and the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges independently. I offer guidance, but ultimately, the power to make decisions and take control of your life lies within you.
What I Can’t Offer

Diagnosis or Medical Advice: I cannot diagnose conditions or offer medical or psychological advice.
Legal, Financial, or Academic Counseling: My focus is on personal and emotional support. While I can offer guidance from lived experience, I am not qualified to provide legal, financial, or academic advice.
Decision-Making: I’m here to support and guide you, but the decisions you make are ultimately yours to choose.
